In his feature film debut, da Silva and
screenwriter Pernilla Oljelund craft a story about true love built on a
foundation of lies. And what better actors to bring it to life than
internationally acclaimed Scandinavian stars Mikael Persbrandt (of
Susanne Bier’s Academy Award-winning In a Better World, which screened
in competition at the Festival last year) and Iben Hjejle (of Stephen
Frears’s High Fidelity and Lars von Trier’s The Boss of It All), who
deliver emotionally intense performances in this sophisticated story of
tragedy and rebirth.
